Contribution] Neighbors Higashijujo Tsubasa vol.6｜"Interaction with other properties" makes social apartment life more enjoyable!

This is a corner where we ask residents to share their experiences in social apartments with us. This time, we would like to introduce the column "Second Youth, Social Apartment" vol.6 by "Inoue Tsubasa" who lives in Neighbors Higashi Jujo.

When you live in a social apartment, you will have opportunities to meet with residents of other properties, which are other social apartments.

The management company regularly holds cross-property events, so you will have opportunities to get to know residents of other properties. The people who became good friends there talked about " Let's have a social event! and sometimes a social gathering is organized by the residents.
In addition, when there are residents who have moved in from other properties, they may organize a social gathering.

In my case, the exchange with Social Apartment Miyamaedaira was my first exchange with another property.

It all started when I met a resident of Social Apartment Miyamaedaira at an event hosted by the management company. After that, we went out for a drink together once and even went on a cottage trip with a few others. Since then, I have become friends with the people at Social Apartment Miyamaedaira enough to play with them at various events.

In fact, I think that one of the pleasures of social apartment life is the interaction with other properties. I think it is one of the pleasures of social apartment life.

In this article, I would like to introduce some of the memorable social gatherings with other properties.

World Neighbors Kiyosumi-Shirakawa｜Launch with band members who performed at a music festival

In April of this year, we organized a music festival with everyone at Neighbors Higashijujo, and at that time, we had a band formed by the residents of World Neighbors Kiyosumi-Shirakawa perform as guests. This time, we held a launch party for the band members.

The band members from World Neighbors Kiyosumi Shirakawa came to visit us at the Neighbors Higashijujo property, and we all looked back on the music festival while eating pizza together.

Some of us were speaking to each other for the first time, while others had seen each other many times. For example, "Kaiimu" is one of the band members from Kiyosumi Shirakawa, whom we have interviewed before in our Social Apartment tenant introduction interview.
On this day, he played music as a DJ, partly because of our musical connection.

The first time I interacted with the people of World Neighbors Kiyosumi Shirakawa was about two years ago. We had a barbecue on the rooftop of the World Neighbors Kiyosumi Shirakawa property. Since then, we have continued to interact with the residents of World Neighbors Kiyosumi Shirakawa, participating in parties they organize and coming to visit us at Neighbors Higashi Jujo.

I think I have visited the World Neighbors Kiyosumi Shirakawa property four or five times. It is one of the properties with which we have such close interaction.

World Neighbors Kiyosumi-Shirakawa｜Summer barbecue on the rooftop

This was the first meeting I had with the people of World Neighbors Kiyosumi Shirakawa about two years ago. It was made possible because we had several connections: one of the residents of Neighbors Higashi Jujo has a friend who lives in Kiyosumi Shirakawa, and a former resident of Kiyosumi Shirakawa lives in Higashi Jujo.

The World Neighbors Kiyosumi-Shirakawa property has a large rooftop with a sense of openness, making it the perfect place to have a barbecue. I remember visiting there for the first time and thinking, "It must be fun to have such a spacious rooftop.

One of the residents of World Neighbors Kiyosumi Shirakawa is an active chef, and he served us food.

In the evening, we took a walk in Kiba Park next door, and it was a day of experiencing life in Kiyosumi Shirakawa.

Social Apartment Miyamaedaira｜Yakatabune Banquet in Minato Mirai

The people of Social Apartment Miyamaedaira organized a yakatabune (houseboat) ride party. In addition to Neighbors Higashijujo, residents of several other properties also participated.

We enjoyed a banquet course while going around the Minato Mirai area on a houseboat. It was my first experience with a houseboat.

I am grateful to have someone who likes to plan and participate in events like this.

I met the person who organized this event at the first exchange event with other properties, a cottage tour with the residents of Social Apartment Miyamaedaira. We are getting to know each other through exchanges with other properties. I think the fun part of exchanges with other properties is that the connections are made.

FILMS Wako｜Movie watching party in the theater room

FILMS Wako is a property with a full-fledged theater room, which I have visited three times.

Before I moved into the social apartment, I was so interested in this property that I was torn between it and Neighbors Higashi Jujo, so I was happy to have the opportunity to use the theater room in this way!

The movies I have seen when I have visited so far are "New Cinema Paradise" and "Howl's Moving Castle. The seats in the Theater Room are just like a real movie theater, and every time I visit, I wish I could live there at least once.

Before the viewing, we cooked together and had a chance to meet each other. Since it was a movie party, the topic naturally turned to movies, TV dramas, and manga. It was fun to talk about our common interests.

In a sense, we are all related to each other, and in a sense, we are outside of each other's properties. So it felt like a "social gathering.

These social gatherings with other tenants led to invitations to participate in various events hosted by the residents.

Some of the people I have met like to plan, so they sometimes organize large-scale events for me.

I have gone to a sports event organized by people in Miyamaedaira, participated in a group to stay and play in an abandoned school, and participated as a DJ in a DJ event organized by two people in Nijojo Castle and Miyamaedaira, Kyoto.

If one's own property is one's family, the other properties are, in a sense, the outside world.
That is why I feel as if I am enjoying a bit of "socializing" when I interact with people from other properties. If one's own property is one's family, then other properties are in a sense outside. Therefore, I feel that interacting with people in other properties is like enjoying "socializing.

Is this the sense that the " social"in"social apartment"is being extended?

I think this kind of enjoyment is one of the charms of social apartments, which have a large number of properties.

Looking back on my 3 years of social apartment life, I feel that I have been able to expand my horizontality and enjoy my life in addition to my normal life through the exchange with other properties.

The exchange with other properties is full of such fun. We recommend that you give it a try if you are going to live in a social apartment!
