If you want to live in Neighbors Yoga. Friday Night Edition in Yoga

When you live in a social apartment, conversations often take place in the lounge, exchanging information about the city, such as "I went to that restaurant for lunch yesterday" or "I'm curious about that public bathhouse over there.

I think it is because we are together with other residents that we are able to expand our exploration of the city.

Following on from the previous " Morning on a Holiday," here is the second installment of our introduction to the town of Yoga.

We will introduce a restaurant that is perfect for a Friday night after-work drinking party with other residents who are good friends!

Tonight's members are these three. Kido (left), who is in charge of development and comes up with concepts for properties, Hashimoto (center), who introduces properties at previews, and Hirayama (right), another sales representative with an appealing bass voice that you would never guess from his gentle face.

We always meet up here! Tachinomi Wine Setagaya STAND

Tachinomi Wine Setagaya STAND is the perfect place to kill a little time or to hold an after-party, as in, "There's still some time left until everyone's work is done.

The restaurant has enough space to accommodate about 10 people and is always crowded with regulars from the neighborhood.
On this particular day, there was a family with a parent and a child and a couple of siblings enjoying a good time.

At first, let's have a toast!

Hashimoto "I guess the first drink should be beer!
Kido: "There's cardamom sour! I'm so happy!"

Despite being a standing wine store, we dared to order beer and sour this time.

The snacks were very tasty and the drinks went down a treat.
On days when the owner is here, he also makes dishes that are not on the menu!

It seems that the local baseball team often visits this restaurant,
After a game, the restaurant is packed with so many people that it is impossible to fit in.

It is amazing to see how many people can drink standing up after a workout!

According to the waitress, no matter how drunk you get, you have to stand up to drink, so no one gets drunk (laughs).

I felt that this store, where people stop by, have a quick conversation, and then go home to their own homes, is like a lounge in a social apartment.

It was a cozy space that could be a place of relaxation for the residents of Neighbors Yoga as well!

The first meeting started at "Delicious Fujiya," a restaurant serving obanzai and tempura!

Next, we moved on to "Delicious Fujiya," which was also recommended by the Setagaya STAND staff, for a solid meal.

Opened in 2023, the Japanese restaurant "Oishii Fujiya" has two semi-private rooms behind the counter seating, making it an easy place for one person or a group to enjoy more than 20 kinds of obanzai and tempura made from seasonal ingredients.

We were hungry and had four kinds of obanzai and assorted sashimi!

The potato salad with iburi ginger and cream cheese, pictured in the foreground, was so good that I wanted another serving.
Each piece of sashimi was very thick, rich in flavor, and very tasty.

Kido: "There is one piece of sashimi left!
Hirayama "I want to have the last piece of bonito."
Hashimoto "They are all so delicious, I can't decide..."

The three of us play rock-paper-scissors for the last piece! This kind of small exchange is one of the best parts of dining together. It naturally brings us closer together.

This restaurant is easy to use, whether you want to eat a full meal or have a light snack and a drink.
It is also open for lunch, so remote workers will find it an easy place to go for a lunch break!

One more restaurant before leaving. THE SHED, an authentic bistro one minute from the property.

After a moderate amount of drinks and good conversation, we visited "THE SHED," a one-minute walk from Neighbors Yoga.

I had eaten pasta for lunch before and enjoyed it so much that I thought I would try it at night next time....
Since I had eaten a full meal that day, I had the "smoked salmon roe and cream cheese canape" with natural wine.

This restaurant is a bistro where you can enjoy gibier cuisine, but the fish is also very tasty because the owner buys fresh fish from Toyosu.

There were small children playing at the counter and the staff were friendly with each other, creating a very homey atmosphere. When I asked if it was a family business, I was told that everyone lived in the same neighborhood.

On that day, we entered the restaurant just before the last order, but a staff member who had already left went out of his way to come back to us. Thank you very much for your warm service!

Hashimoto: "Wow, this is so delicious! I'm impressed."
Kido: "It goes really well with white wine, and the smoky aroma is very strong!
Hirayama: "Eating it munching in silence. LOL!

The fresh salmon roe was smoked to give it a richer flavor and was very tasty.

At the end of the meal, we relaxed with ice cream and coffee.
The coffee, carefully made one cup at a time, was also very tasty.

The waitress said, "I got nervous thinking about having my picture taken! Please take beautiful pictures!"
Kido "The latte art is very beautiful. I will be happy to show you plenty of its charms."

Not only were the dishes at all the restaurants delicious, but they all had an at-home atmosphere where you could feel a connection with the locals, and I completely lingered there for a long time.

I have heard that "Setagaya Ward residents don't often move to other places," and I think I understand why.
It is wonderful to have a place other than your own home where you can say "Welcome Home!

I wonder where the residents of Neighbors Yoga will be going to? I'm looking forward to seeing it after it opens.
