[Event Report] Gaitomo Youtube Meet and Greet
We’re always trying to find new opportunities for socializing and communication at Social Apartment, especially for residents looking for a more international interaction. To that end, we were happy to collaborate with Gaitomo, an event coordinator specializing in international exchange in Tokyo, and some of our YouTube partners this last Saturday at World Neighbors Gokokuji.
With plenty of food and drinks, residents and outside guests were able to converse in English and Japanese, with a lot of emphasis on discussion of YouTube and new media. With a variety of content creators and other interesting participants, the bar lounge was full of interesting discussion and plenty of laughter as well. And of course, we wouldn’t be making good use of Gokokuji’s bar lounge without playing a few rounds of billiards!
It’s always exciting to see new guests experience Social Apartment for the first time, and we were more than happy to show them around to get a good look at what we’re all about. There were more than a few people who were caught off guard by all the great facilities in Gokokuji (especially the rooftop) and were trying there best to find the catch to what seems too good to be true (insider secret: there is none!).
This was a nice, small-scale gathering, but we’re sure it will pave the way for bigger international events in the future, with plenty of great properties, and tons of residents eager to meet new people and expand their social circles, we’re sure that Social Apartment is the perfect place for these kinds of events. We’re happy to continue to try new things to provide the best social environment for our residents that we can. Make sure to keep an eye out for our next big event coming later this year.
