Enjoy a special view on the rooftop. Report on "Yodogawa Fireworks Event" at Terminals Shin-Osaka
The Yodogawa Fireworks Festival is probably the first name that comes to mind when talking about fireworks displays in the Kansai region.
Usually held in August, this year's fireworks display will be held in October, bringing a sense of autumn to the area.
Terminals Shin-Osaka, which opened in August 2025, has a spacious rooftop terrace close to the Yodogawa River, the launch site. With this perfect location, we jointly planned an opening event to coincide with the Yodogawa Fireworks Festival!
We created a time for everyone to get together and create connections, using the fireworks display not only as a spectacle but also as an opportunity.
In this issue, Taguchi, a sales representative from Terminals Shin-Osaka, reports on the lively evening with photos!
Preparation scene! A Special Day Created with Residents
We wanted to make this fireworks display an opportunity for residents to interact with each other, so we started planning this event with the residents from the preparation stage.
The property will open in August 2025 and new life will begin, and we wanted to create a place that would provide an opportunity for exchange. When we were talking about this at the property, one of the tenants said, "We can help! and we started a joint project.
It started with such a single voice, but in the end, about 10 ten tenants gathered to help out! We felt that it is a true "Social Apartment style" that many people agree with what someone "wants to do.
We received many ideas from the residents, such as "I would like to make a food stall like at a festival," or "It would be easier to get to know each other if there were beverages," and we worked together to prepare for the event.
On the day of the event, they took the initiative in arranging the rooftop viewing area and preparing drinks.
We also prepared " Highly Lively IPA " from LIVELY HOTELS, which is operated by Global Agents. Snacks were also provided, and we enjoyed waiting for the fireworks to be launched.
In the common lounge on the first floor, some residents were cooking food for the fireworks display! There was also a scene where they served it to the guests they had invited that day.
The ability to invite friends and family is one of the features of a social apartment. It was impressive to see residents inviting their friends and family and happily showing them around the lounge, working space, and other common areas.
The circle of interaction between guests, residents and guests, and other residents was widening, and I quickly realized that Terminals Shin-Osaka is quickly becoming a place for new connections.
As the sun began to set and the 7:30 p.m. fireworks were about to be launched, everyone gathered on the rooftop one after another, eagerly waiting for the moment to arrive.
Yodogawa fireworks all to myself! An extravagant night at home on the rooftop!
About 100 guests gathered on the rooftop to watch the fireworks display!
The spacious rooftop terrace provided an unobstructed and beautiful view of the Yodogawa fireworks, and everyone was glued to their special seats.
Everyone was glued to the view from their prime seats, cheering and applauding each time the fireworks lit up the night sky.
It was a moment when we were reminded of the beauty of the combination of the natural beauty of the Yodogawa River and the buildings of Umeda.
I was so happy to be able to sit down and watch the fireworks so close to the city! I want to invite my friends to see them again next year."
The sight of the residents smiling and chatting with each other with the special night view in the background was the very "extraordinary experience" that Social Apartment offers.
Even after the fireworks were over, the residents were still chatting in the lounge on the first floor. People who had never met before exchanged contact information with each other, or made new plans to play games together in the lounge next time. and "Let's play a game together in the lounge next time!
What was impressive about this event was that everyone took the initiative to clean up after themselves.
I felt the warmth of the community when I saw them collecting trash and wiping down tables on their own.
When our staff asked the residents how the community was doing, they told us that the opening party had already been held under the residents' auspices, and that opportunities to gather together naturally had been created, such as a dinner party around a hot plate.
At the opening party, there was also a quiz contest related to the residents, which was a great opportunity for people to get to know each other.
They said they hope to enjoy seasonal events such as Christmas and Valentine's Day together in the near future. The fireworks display project was also planned in the hope that it would help the community at Terminals Shin-Osaka become even more active, and it was great to see all the participants interacting with each other with smiles on their faces.
The good thing about new properties is that the community starts from scratch, so it is easy to get close to each other in a short period of time. It is also attractive that everyone feels as if they are "in the same boat" and can build new relationships without anxiety.
Why don't you start a new life in a social apartment where you can meet new people?
