Unparalleled Image Reproduction】 Neighbors Yoga Before / After is now open to the public!

Hello. My name is Kido, and I am in charge of the development of Neighbors Yoga.
In this issue, I would like to take you behind the scenes of the new Neighbors Yoga in Yoga, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo!

How can an old building be made so stylish? Can we make a decision based on a pre-completion perspective drawing?
To answer these questions, we will follow the process from pre-construction to completion and introduce our commitment to space creation.
First, let's start with the "lounge," a large space unique to Social Apartment.

One of the best parts of a social apartment is the "luxurious lounge," which is something you cannot get when living alone. However, this space was not created from the beginning.

↓BEFORE: Originally, it was divided into smaller rooms.

↓Under construction: All the walls were demolished, leaving the pillars that support the building's structure.

In addition, a large-scale renovation was carried out to change the "entrance location" itself.
The entrance in the red frame was replaced by a new wall to create a living space.

↓After completion: An overwhelmingly large space was created. Overall, pop and warm colors were used to create a cozy space.
A 65-inch TV was installed on the wall where the old entrance used to be.

Going beyond mere renovation, we reconsidered the flow line of the residents from the very beginning. This is the "commitment" of Social Apartment. 2.

2.[2F MULTIPURPOSE ROOM, 3F WORKING LOUNGE ] Surprised at the reproducibility of the image perspective!

At Social Apartment, we hold a "pre-completion viewing" before the property is completed, and many people decide to move in. The accuracy of the perspective image of the completed building is very important.

Let us start with the BEFORE picture.
Since this property is a renovated nursing home, there were no walls in the common areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
New walls were installed and designed to prevent sound emitted from the common areas from leaking into the hallways and apartments.

The left image is an image perspective, and the right image is a photograph of the completed building taken at the time of completion.
You can see that the building has been completed exactly as shown in the perspective, so much so that it could be mistaken for the same photograph.

The applicants who confirmed the quality of the WORKING LOUNGE, in particular, at the post-completion unveiling were surprised to hear, "It's just as I imagined! They were surprised at the quality of the space, which is reminiscent of European bookstores and libraries.

We requested the designer to create a space inspired by European bookstores and libraries, and the combination of the green tiles on the floor and walls and the gold pendant lights is exactly as we imagined, giving it a foreign feel.

We, Global Agents, have been in the social apartment business for 20 years, and we have completed more than 60 properties so far. Because of this track record, we can confidently show you "the space will be exactly as you see it! Even before completion, we can confidently show you "the space will be just as it should be!

The property has an unusual structure in that common areas are dispersed on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Taking advantage of this feature, the design theme was set as "LAYER.

We hope you will experience the luxury of being able to choose your "place" in the property according to your mood of the day.

The "Look Here" point of the development staff! Point" - "Layer" is everywhere.

Colorful layers of wood were used for the small edges of the lounge/dining table and the frame surrounding the box seat, and the blind partition on the back of the sofa represents fallen leaves forming a stratum. Please check it out when you visit the property.

The first thing you will see when you open the door of the lounge is a cave that looks like a slushy, rushed, and unexplored space. There was a proposal to build seating in this area, but in fact, it is an uncomfortable place to sit where you can be seen from everywhere. We decided to add art representing the theme of the property, and under the supervision of the art group "Generation X," we had them create a powerful object that we could not find in our own home!

We would be happy if it could be a conversation starter among the residents.

The motif of the artwork on the terrace at the back of the Multipurpose Room on the 2nd floor is a map of the Yoga area.
The contour lines of the map are deformed and layered, and the colors are matched with the furniture in the room.
If you look closely, you can see the location of Neighbors Yoga.

The books displayed in the WORKING LOUNGE were also selected with layers in mind.

The design is layered, or it is a book about geological strata...
We have selected interesting books that will help your imagination if you pick them up during your work time or when you are stuck for ideas.

How was it? You have seen the process of transforming a single building into "Neighbors Yoga" through careful design and meticulous attention to detail.

As a developer, it is my greatest pleasure to see how the empty space before construction is transformed into a beautiful space filled with the laughter of the residents.

We hope that Neighbors Yoga will be more than just a "place to live," but a place where everyone's daily life overlaps as "layers," and where you can meet a new you that is different from the one you knew yesterday.
