A Year in the Life of Social Apartment with "Everyone's Photo Exhibition"｜SOCIAL NIGHT OUT 2024 in Kansai & Kanto

What kind of year was 2024 for you?

Social Apartment has been holding various events throughout the year, and it has been a year in which we have been able to meet and deepen friendships with many of our residents even after they moved in!

To wrap up the year, we held a large winter event, "SOCIAL NIGHT OUT," where we looked back on the year with all the residents who have shared their lives at Social Apartment over delicious drinks and food.

The annual "SOCIAL NIGHT OUT" event brings together residents from nearly 50 properties in the Kanto and Kansai regions, and is a great opportunity for residents to interact with each other beyond the boundaries of their properties.

In this article, we introduce the "SOCIAL NIGHT OUT 2024" held in Kansai on December 7 and in Kanto on December 14.

Looking back on the year 2024 with "Photo Exhibition for Everyone

The theme of "SOCIAL NIGHT OUT 2024" was "Everyone's Photo Exhibition," a collection of photos captured on film of life in social apartments and time spent with friends over the past year. The exhibition was filled with photos taken in familiar common areas (lounge, bar lounge, kitchen, etc.), at events that everyone enjoyed together, and at other properties where you could catch a glimpse of "social apartment living".

In the "Everyone's Photo Exhibition" corner, visitors found photos of themselves and their friends, and we could hear their voices saying, "This is nostalgic! I am sure that the time spent with friends who have lived together, along with the many memories, was invaluable.

If we could take a picture like a photo studio with everyone like that

In fact, we tend to forget to take pictures of our "daily life" in social apartments. Even when everyone gets together, it is not uncommon to find yourself saying, "I missed taking a group photo! It is not uncommon for people to forget to take a group photo when they get together.

In order to capture this moment, we have set up a photo booth at the venue where you can take pictures with your friends on the spot. The booth was crowded with residents, who were able to take photos with their Cheki cameras, and to pose like models for photos in a variety of ways, from smiling to getting excited (laugh)!

And of course, meeting new friends for 2025!

At Social Apartment events, residents of various social apartments gather together beyond the boundaries of their properties, and although they live in different properties, they are all "Social Apartment residents," so "Nice to meet you! It's nice to meet you!

Since many of the participants are new to each other, we prepared a game in which teams of tenants from different properties compete against each other. The game was called "MUSIC GAME," in which teams had to guess the name of a song by listening to the intro of the song, "INTRODON! and "MV Don!" in which teams guess the name of the song by watching a scene from the music video. and "Lyric Don!" to guess the name of the song from some of the disclosed lyrics. The competition was heated!

From the famous songs to the latest songs, the participants were able to say, "Oh, I get it! I got it! Sometimes the winner had a flash of inspiration, while other times he or she and his or her team members had a hard time coming up with a good answer.

The winners were presented with gorgeous prizes!

And this year, the BEST DRESSER award was back!

The dress code for this year's "SOCIAL NIGHT OUT" was to dress up a bit and wear "dressy clothes!

It was a tough battle because everyone came to the event in stylish attire, but the three winners will receive a free stay at any of the LIVELY HOTELS facilities we operate throughout Japan.

From Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, we hope that you will enjoy choosing your travel destination and make your trip a memorable one!

We were able to see many residents at our annual "SOCIAL NIGHT OUT" in 2024! Once again, thank you for living with us in 2024!

There may come a time when you will suddenly realize that a "moment in your daily life" that was not worth clicking the shutter for was a nostalgic and "lovely moment. Even so, it is not possible to release the shutter at every moment, and we often end up saying, "Oh, by the way, I forgot to take a picture. It's just too comfortable, too commonplace a time because it's our daily life. But that's okay. It's okay, too. It would be nice if we could accumulate such moments with our neighbors that make us feel warm and fuzzy when we casually recall them.

While some things change with the turnover of residents, I am sure that there are things that will remain unchanged forever, even if they are not captured in photographs. It was the end of the year when I caught a glimpse of life in a social apartment.
