A message from our CEO on Coronavirus (COVID19)

To All Social Apartment Members,

Thank you for choosing Social Apartment as your home in Japan.

I wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at Social Apartment to support you and your life in Japan.

The Japanese government has declared a State Of Emergency in 7 prefectures in an attempt to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). I want to let you know that the staff at Social Apartment is also doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our communities as the situation evolves.

Social Apartment remains committed to offering the safest environment possible for all of you, but we need the help of each and everyone of you to maintain a safe environment.

There is a serious possibility that you will put other tenants at risk if you do not comply with our basic guidelines, so we ask that you please read them carefully. We deeply appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

We are a company that strongly values Community. We strive to encourage connection and understanding between others and believe that this is an essential way to enrich one’s life. We are constantly amazed by the consideration and support that residents offer to one another.

In these difficult times, we ask that you keep your own health in mind as well as the health of your community, friends and loved ones. Social connection does not necessarily require close physical contact and making the effort to maintain two meters of separation or choosing to connect online or on the phone will make a world of difference in maintaining a safe environment in these trying times.

To our international community, we understand that this is an especially stressful time. Please stay in touch with your loved ones in Japan and abroad and remember to take a moment for yourself as well. We sincerely hope the best for you and your loved ones.
