Congratulations on your decision to move into a social apartment!
How are you feeling now?

Some of you may not feel it yet because you have not moved in yet, and some of you may be getting anxious because your move is just around the corner. Many of you may have made the decision to change your environment and are looking forward to your new life.

In this issue, we will review with you the flow of procedures and preparations for moving in so that you can move in smoothly!

■Screening for moving in

After submitting an application for the room you would like to move into, the move-in screening by the guarantor company will start. The screening results will take about 2 days to 1 week after all the application information is received.
The key point is that all the procedures are done online except for the receipt of the key. You will receive the results by automatic e-mail, and we ask you to check the results as appropriate during the screening process.
Also, depending on the guarantor company, you will receive a phone call to confirm your identity at the screening stage. If you do not respond to the call, the screening process will be stopped. If you receive a missed call or short message from the guarantee company, please call back.

■Date of room cleaning completion

If you apply for a vacant room, the room cleaning has already been completed,
However, if you apply for a room that is being cleaned or is occupied by a current tenant, we will start the contract procedure as soon as the cleaning completion date is fixed.

Generally, the cleaning date is fixed by 2 weeks prior to the start of the contract (rent accrual date), but this date may change depending on the situation.

In the rare case that unexpected repairs occur after the current tenant has moved out and we are unable to meet the requested start date, we will contact you as soon as possible. Basically, we will make arrangements to meet your requested date, so you can proceed with your move-in preparations without any problems.

Please note that you do not need to take any special action until the cleaning completion date is fixed. If you do not hear from us for a while, please rest assured that the process is proceeding smoothly.

Issuance of invoice and payment

An invoice will be issued on My Page approximately two weeks prior to the contract start date (rent accrual date). At this time, the My Page screen will also switch to the contract procedure screen.
However, as mentioned in Step 2, the timing of the invoice issuance will vary depending on the status of the room you have applied for. If you have applied for a room that is currently occupied by the current tenant, the invoice will be issued after the date of completion of the cleaning after the tenant moves out is fixed. Please check the status of which contract procedure you are in on My Page.

■Appointment for key pickup

You will need to come to the Global Agents office only to pick up your keys. The point is that you need to come to our office to pick up the key by the day your contract starts. You can make an appointment from My Page, so please reserve your date well in advance.

If you are planning to come from overseas, we ask that you be sure to come to Japan at least one day before the key pickup in case of flight delays.

■Watch the tutorial video

After you have made an appointment to come to our office, you will watch a video to prepare for the signing of the contract.
Social Apartment is a rental apartment with a common area. In order for everyone to live comfortably, the video summarizes the rules of living and important things to consider when signing a contract. To avoid a situation where you "didn't understand" after moving in, please keep the points in mind here.

■Conclusion of Contract (Online Contract)

The contract procedure is completed online on My Page. Important details are also clearly explained in the video. Please read the precautions before proceeding with the contract procedure. If you need a copy of the contract, you can download a PDF file.

■Receiving the key (visiting the Global Agents office)

You will be asked to come to our Global Agents office on the date you have reserved in advance. For properties in the Kanto area, please visit the Shibuya office, and for properties in the Kansai area, please visit the Osaka Honmachi office. Please note that you will not receive the keys at the social apartment where you will live.
We also ask that you give your consent to receive the key online. You will need to use your smart phone to do this.
Please note that we will not be able to deliver the key to you unless Steps 4-7 above are completed. Please be sure to complete this at least one day before.

Moving in and moving out

Finally, it is time to move in! Thank you for your hard work in completing all the procedures up to this point. You will not be able to move into your room until after the start date of your contract. You can start cleaning and bringing in your belongings after the start date of your contract.
