[Event Report] TOKYO SOCIAL NIGHT OUT 2017

Our increasingly popular annual event for Social Apartment residents, TOKYO SOCIAL NIGHT OUT was once again a great success this year!

Thanks to our staff and the brilliant participants this year’s event ended with a blast! Here are some memorable shots of the night!

This year we moved out of last year’s cafe venue and into a more spacious setting. Known for our design, Global Agents staff prepped the venue with balloons and handmade decorations in alignment with this year’s white theme!

Of course, there was only so much white that we could put into place, but as residents began to arrive, their white outfits brought energy and brightened the whole venue.

This year a grand total of 120 residents from 18 different Social Apartments participated!!

Everyone’s attention turned to the screen as the event kicked off with an opening video, with exciting music and boisterous photos of the many various communities in our Social Apartments. Participants were lively as they turned to ask the person next to them, which property they were from.

Everyone raised their glasses for a big KANPAI cheers!

Separated into different table, residents quickly took to conversing with their team members as they touched glasses.
The tables were lined with mouth-water food.

The delicious catering was provided by Organic Kitch GOJUMARU(愛菜食堂がじゅま～る) and NOMADE KITCHEN. The two groups were recommended by KitchHike, who is a supporter of our monthly dinner event “Social Apartment Everyone’s Cafetiera”.

In commemoration of the event’s white theme, the food as also made with a white basis in mind!

Each chef explained each dish with care, creating a beautiful menu for everyone to enjoy.

After the opening remarks, an ice-breaking game was played among the teams.
With the help of each team member, a white board was passed around with just a few seconds for each member to add to the same picture before passing it on. The goal was to recreate a picture of a well-known character!

This year our event included an English speaking MC, welcoming our international resident to the event!

Time was up and each team had to present their drawings!
Residents jumped up and down trying to get attention of the judge, our CEO!

Among the creative and unique drawings, it was A team, with careful attention to detail that was named the winner of the ice-breaking game.

As one might expect of SA residents, participants quickly took to conversing as soon as the game ended!

The venue is filled with conversation and laughter.

With stomachs filled and glass in hand, it was on to the next game! A two-choice quiz, where residents would have to pick either the Polar Bear or Sheep to represent their answer! There was even a contest of who of two residents would win in an arm wrestle…!!

Residents gave their answer dividing cleanly down the middle! The side with more members wins the quiz!

Betraying everyone’s expectations, the polar bear side won! Congratulation!

Among this fierce battle there were many other curious questions.

Next up was time to exchange gifts!
Santa Claus appeared with everyone’s gifts!

A jolly-good fellow spreading joy and Christmas cheer!
Each resident brought a gift to be randomly exchanged, passing from one person to the next, round and around as music played!

Residents searched for their secret santa! Making new friends in the process!

This year’s NIGHT OUT dress code was all white, so of course we had a best dressed competition!
Residents received ribbons to give the person wearing their favorite white outfit. The person with most ribbons got a special prize!

Wrapping ribbons onto the arm of the best dressed of choice gave residents another opportunity to meet new friends.

The winner is the newest resident !!
She has already made so many new friends in SA!

And the grand prize? A one night-two days ticket to one of Global Agents’ hotels!

From Hokkaido to Okinawa, we have hotels at Japan’s main spots!

With the end of the best dressed competition, it was time for the SA AWARD announcements!
Among the most active community to the cleanest property a total of 5 categories are awarded to the best Social Apartment community of the category.

Finally, the 【 Most Outstanding Performance Award 】goes to Social Apartment Komae!

The Outstanding Performance Award goes to the SA that was the cleanest, had an active and warm community and finally had full occupancy!
Thank you for being such wonderful residents!

And last but not least… the SA that had the most participants at the TOKYO SOCIAL NIGHT OUT event is… none other than Neighbors Futakotamagawa!

Neighbors Futakotamagawa has been the winner of this category for a second consecutive year! An example of the closeness of the community there!

Whatever picture caught your eye, there were certainly many smiles throughout the night.
It was a great opportunity to see each Social Apartment community’s own color and to make new friends from other properties, all a part of our large Social Apartment family!
